The Paradise Festival 2026 is coming to Braga, in partnership with CONCILIARE!
This September, the event will bring another opportunity to reflect on ‘Afrodescendence’s Past and Future’ in a two-day program that connects debate, arts, gastronomy, and more.
The activities aim to celebrate African and Lusophone artistic expressions, while looking critically at the past to understand what’s ahead and challenging cultural heritages to build new realities.

The festival is curated by Nuno Abreu, with the curatorial collaboration of Rosa Cabecinhas (CONCILIARE), Bantumen, and Kitty Furtado. Supported by the Portuguese Republic – Culture, Youth, and Sport / Directorate-General for the Arts / Portuguese Network of Theatres and Cinema-Theatres (RTCP).
