House of European History presents the exhibition “Postcolonial?”

We are happy to have collaborated with the House of European History, a museum in Brussels!

With this collaboration, CONCILIARE aims to translate our research into concrete change. In this case, providing the museum with research from our working group on textbooks, contributed for one hands-on activity where visitors will be able to create their own history textbook.

On April 17, the museum will inaugurate the exhibition “Postcolonial?”.

It questions how the colonial matrix of power – the ideas, events, inequalities, and injustices born of colonialism – continue to shape the modern world.

Throughout the exhibition, unique artworks, historical objects, hands-on activities, and personal stories, accompany the visitor throughout this much-needed European reckoning with colonialism.

We hope to see you all at the public opening!
