From 4th to 5th December, we had the pleasure of hosting the International Workshop – Textbooks and Voices in Contemporary Europe at the University of Coimbra, Portugal.
Over two inspiring days, members of CONCILIARE’s Work Package 1 shared the results of their research on textbooks carried out in Finland, Italy, and Portugal.
We were also honored to welcome invited experts and CONCILIARE consultants Mario Carretero and Karel van Nieuwenhuyse. They led a thought-provoking roundtable on history education, offering international and multidisciplinary perspectives on teaching and representing the colonial past. Their insights also enriched our practical session on developing a new pedagogical tool.
